Sheehan Group: GHM’s first ever customer adds IT Support to Voice and Connectivity

As GHM celebrates its 20th anniversary, it only seems right to shine the spotlight on our very first customer, Sheehan Group, who have recently added IT Support to their existing telephony and connectivity provision.

A leading regional construction group specialising in recycling, groundworks, aggregate and plant hire, Sheehan Group was founded by John Sheehan in Oxford over 40 years ago. Today, still very much a family business, the group has expanded across multiple offices but remains underpinned by their expertise and dedication to customer service, innovation, sustainability and safe practice.

Background

GHM has been providing Sheehan Group with their telephone systems for 20 years and recently transitioned the group to a VoIP cloud hosted solution, ensuring they were way ahead of the Big PSTN Switch Off and benefitting from the commercial advantages that it brings. GHM also provides Sheehan with the latest connectivity.

After experiencing issues with their existing IT provider, Sheehan Group has now outsourced their entire IT provision to GHM, meaning their voice, IT and connectivity now sit seamlessly under one single provider.

Managed IT Support

GHM provides Sheehan Group with access to its 24/7 IT support desk, meaning any Sheehan team member with an IT issue or question can submit a ticket. GHM also provides the group with hardware, manages the Sheehan servers, looks after any integrations and Microsoft licenses, and provides a full range of security and backup solutions.

Voice

The cloud hosted solution, provided by GHM, comprises handsets, fully compliant cloud-based call recording and analytics, secure data centre storage and an administration portal that enables managers to search and perform a wide range of duties from anywhere. Features include auto attendant and voicemail for all users and groups, plus the flexibility to hot desk or take calls on a mobile app, vital for a company like Sheehan where many team members work remotely or onsite.
